Our Team

Matt Baker

Owner & CEO

We call him "Baker"--Founder, CEO, and our lead cleaning guru behind the perfectly poured pints you'll find at our favorite retailers. With years of combined experience as a brewery taproom manager and as a draft line technician for one of the top 1% wholesale distributors, he knows that a great beer deserves a clean line—and he’s on a mission to make sure nothing comes between you and that perfect pour.

Matt is a Cicerone Certified Beer Server and also has over 15 of management years in retail and customer experience, plus a Bachelor of Science focus in business and IT, he’s got the brains and the brawn to keep your draft lines spotless and your beer flowing smoothly. When he's not flushing lines and optimizing beer quality, you’him might find him sipping on an English stout (yes, even in the summertime) while cheering on the Panthers.

Whether you’re a local brewery or a neighborhood bar, he’s here to ensure your draft system is running cleaner than a freshly polished pint glass. Cheers to that!

Nick Giesige

Senior Draft Technician/Account Manager

Meet Nick!  Nick joins our team following eight years of leadership experience with a 20+ person Packaging Team at Rhinegeist Brewery in Cincinnati, OH. He’s a pro at operational and mechanical troubleshooting , team leadership , and driving production efficiencies —basically, if something’s not working, Nick is the guy who makes it work (and probably improves it in the process) and we’re excited to see him apply that same approach to draft system maintenance and cleaning for our valued clients.

Before his time at Rhinegeist, Nick gained hands-on experience in packaging and cellaring at Fifty West Brewing Company , along with several years as a lead bartender  at pub establishments. This combination of experience in both production breweries and retail environments provided Nick a solid foundation in draft system knowledge and allows him to connect easily with retail accounts and their needs. With a Cicerone® Certified Beer Server credential  and a Brewery Packaging Technology Certificate from the Master Brewers Association of the Americas , Nick’s got the expertise to back up his passion for beer.

Nick isn’t just a beer aficionado; he also holds a BA in International Affairs and Spanish from the University of Cincinnati , along with a semester studying Spanish at Universidad del País Vasco in Spain and is fluent. (We like our team members brainy and worldly, what can we say?

Micah Owens

Senior Draft Technician/Account Manager

Micah’s path to draft system mastery is anything but ordinary. With degrees in anthropology and public administration and two years in the Peace Corps, he learned how to understand people, navigate complex systems, and solve problems on the fly — skills that turned out to be incredibly useful in the world of draft service.

After starting as a technician, for a large regional distributor that delivers nearly 7 million cases each year, he worked his way up to managing their draft system maintenance and QA divisions across a regional territory that served roughly 1,000 restaurants and bars, leading a team of 10 and keeping quality high at every stop. Along the way he’s trained countless techs, written plenty of SOPs, and we're so fortunate to have someone with his experience and acumen on board! Micah also holds a Cicerone® Certified Beer Server credential.

When he’s not perfecting services, quality and account relationships, Micah and his partner Rocky can be found each fall embracing their inner knights at the Carolina Renaissance Festival — where he’s been the festival’s trusted line guru for years. Smart, steady, and endlessly curious, Micah brings global perspective, operational wizardry, and a genuine love for clean, fresh draft lines to every job he touches.
