Cheers to One Year!

One Weekend. One Risk. One Belief That We Could Do It Better.

A year ago, Brew-tiful Lines wasn’t a business plan — it was a leap of faith.

But really, the story starts long before the LLC paperwork, before the brand, before the early mornings and late-nights. It started years earlier with two people who loved beer.

It was 2019 when Matt first stumbled across Karri’s social media profile. A simple tagline—“craft beer enthusiast”—caught his eye, along with the hint of a few mutual friends. It wasn’t much, but it was enough. One casual message turned into long conversations that stretched for hours, days, and weeks. They discovered a shared fascination with hops, lagers, and the craft beer scene across North Carolina, but more than that, they found a shared belief that beer wasn’t just a drink—it was a connector, a bridge between people and experiences. In each other, they had found someone who not only shared their passion but understood the community, culture, and craft behind it.

Beer didn’t just bring them together personally—it bonded them professionally as well. A few years earlier, Karri had poured her passion into launching the UNC Charlotte Craft Beer Business Essentials Certificate Program, shaping the curriculum with both national and local industry experts and brewery owners. Sitting in on classes with her students  deepened her own curiosity and interest in the business of beer over the years. She absorbed the critical pieces it takes to run a successful operation—strategic and financial planning, branding, customer experience, legal, operations, and HR.

Matt’s path complemented Karri’s perfectly. After 15+ years managing Big Box stores, he made the leap into the beer world he loved. He started on the taproom floor, managing a bustling brewery taproom where every pour and customer interaction mattered, before moving into the line cleaning division of a regional beer distributor. There, he gained hands-on technical experience while building strong relationships with accounts.

And then everything changed.

In late 2024, new legislation forced Matt’s employer to eliminate its draft line cleaning operations. In a single day, everything stopped — and everything began. As newlyweds who had just celebrated their first year of marriage, Matt came home, and together, as a team, they spent hours on a Friday night exploring possibilities and imagining a path forward.

Within one day, they decided to go for it.
Within
one weekend, they had their LLC, their vision, and their brand.
Within
three months, they add two full-time account managers/senior draft technicians.

And the rest? History in the making.

From the start, Brew-tiful Lines has been built on service, communication, ethics, and zero compromise. We hold ourselves to the standards we expect from others — transparent, dependable, and guided by principles that matter.

The support, trust, and relationships we’ve built this past year have been nothing short of incredible. From the Piedmont to select locations across the Triad and High Country, we've added over 150 new accounts to our portfolio and we’ve met amazing people while caring for incredible beer.

Brew-tiful Lines was born from equal parts passion and purpose — a love for beer, for the craft behind it, and for the people who make this industry what it is. 💙 A year later, that belief still drives every service call, every pour, every partnership.

Thank you for trusting us with your lines, your beer, and your brand.

Thank you for believing in what we’re trying to build.

Here’s to year two — and keeping every pour as brew-tiful as the first. 💧✨

Cheers, friends.
